Funeral Service

Please pray for Fred Eckrosh, 96 who passed away Wednesday, July 1st at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines.  Funeral services will be at 10:00 am on Tuesday, July 7th, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, with burial to follow at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.

 

Fred is survived by his daughter, Janie (Ron) Rouse of Des Moines, two grandsons, Tom Plowman and Jeff Eide, both of Des Moines.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm Monday, July 6th at Iles Funeral Homes-Westover Chapel, 6337 Hickman Road in Des Moines where a Vigil Service will be at 7:00 pm.  Eternal rest grant to Fred, O Lord.  Let your perpetual light shine upon him.

Holy Trinity students will learn and practice the Trinity Traits!
 
Trinity Traits:
Be Respectful, Responsible and Ready to Learn
 
Students will learn how to apply these traits in the classroom, lunchroom, hallways, playground, restrooms and church.
 
Students will be recognized for practicing positive behavior choices.
We will regularly celebrate students’ successes and accomplishments!

Start Time Changes for 2009-2010

On Tuesday, June 2, 2009 the Holy Trinity Board of Education held a meeting regarding the length of the school day.  The Board agreed to add 15 minutes to the school day beginning August 20th.
 
The new schedule is as follows:
·       School hours K-8: 8:15-3:15
·       DK students: 8:15-11:15 AM
·       Preschool 3's: 8:05-10:40 AM
·       Preschool 4's AM: 8:05-11:50 AM
·       Preschool 4's PM: 12:45-3:15 PM
Kids Connection Hours: 6:30-8:15 AM & 3:10-6:00 PM
Breakfast will be served: 7:45-8:15 AM

More information regarding drop-off time, class list and supply list will be forthcoming.  The 2009-2010 school calendar has been updated on the web site.  Please continue to check the web site on a regular basis for further updates.
