Every time you purchase groceries at Dahls or Hy-Vee or put gas in your car at Casey’s or Kum & Go – YOU can earn money for Holy Trinity.
Every time you make a purchase at Grounds for Celebrations, Boesen’s, Christopher’s, or Ace Hardware – YOU can earn money for Holy Trinity.
Every time you shop for clothes, office supplies, and home improvement project supplies– YOU can earn money for Holy Trinity.
What is SCRIP?
The SCRIP fundraiser is the easiest way to earn money for our church and school and all you have to do is purchase every day needs. It’s also the perfect gift for birthdays, holidays, and even weddings and there is no additional cost to you.
You can purchase a gift card or certificate for gas, groceries, or whatever your needs are after Mass, at the Parish Office or through the Backpack System. Order forms are also available in the Parish office. There are many local and national vendors who participate in the Scrip program. The Scrip Program purchases these gift cards at a discount – you pay face value – the difference is profit that is shared between the Guild and you! You may direct your portion of the proceeds to your child’s HT Lunch account, your child’s Dowling Lunch account, or the Guild.
How do I order?
Check out the Scrip Form for many of the vendors that participate. The front of the order form contains items that are generally kept in stock. The back of the form contains items that are available to order. Those items are ordered each Monday and available for you to pick up at the next mass or you can stop in the Parish office after Thursday of the same week to pick it up. During the school year send the order form to school with your child. Items that are in stock are sent home the same day. Items that need to be ordered will be sent home by Friday of the same week.
Standing Orders are a way to receive the same Scrip regularly throughout the school year. You place your order for those cards that you would like to receive each week (*check out the calendar – there are a few weeks when delivery is not possible) send in your authorization for withdrawal from your checking or savings account. The Parish office takes care of all banking transactions and the Scrip Volunteers make sure your scrip is sent home each week. Standing orders start in Sept. and end in May. Forms must be received by September 14, 2009.
