Nutrition Services

Holy Trinity is a Team Nutrition School.  We work closely with the USDA to continuously improve and promote the health of our school children.  As a Team Nutrition School, we serve lunches that are lower in fat and sodium, and include more grains, vegetables, and fruit.

In addition to hot lunch, an extensive ala carte table is available for grades 2nd - 8th during lunch time.  Fruit juice, string cheese, chips, fruit roll-ups, granola bars, ice cream, fresh fruit, and yogurt are some of the items offered.

Student Lunch Schedules:

  • 10:55 - 11:20 am   2nd & 3rd grade
  • 11:25 - 11:50 am   Kindergarten & 1st grade
  • 11:55 - 12:20 am   4th & 5th grades
  • 12:25 - 12:45 pm   6th grade
  • 12:40 - 1:00 pm     7th & 8th grades

Special Events

Thanksgiving Feast, Muffins with Mom, and Donuts with Dad offer parents an opportunity to share a meal with their student.  We also welcome visitors during normal school days.  Please contact the school kitchen the morning of the visit to order a school lunch.  Parents visiting and eating lunch with their child(ren) are required to sign-in at the school office prior to their visit.


Treat Policy & Birthday Treats

The school follows the Smart Snacks/Healthy Kids Act of 2010 for treats that are served to students during the school day.  Prior arrangements with the classroom teacher are to be made before serving birthday treats.

Due to the risk of hepatitis, the Polk County Health Department has suggested strict guidelines in the way treats and snacks are handled at school.  All treats provided to students must be store purchased and pre-packaged.
